Gema Galán / Spain

From a very young age, art was a window through which I saw the world and was able to communicate. I studied English Literature, was a dancer and a teacher for many years but I have always had a passionate relationship with photography. In 2020 I decided to enter the profession and since then I have participated in many different competitions for which I have been a finalist and won an award. I was born in Seville but at the age of four, my parents emigrated to Sydney, Australia. I consider myself quite lucky to not belong only to one place. It has allowed me to always travel between worlds and be surrounded by magic. Photography allows me to express myself and communicate freely. In this art form I have been able to find a place where my creativity can be unrestrained. Currently, I specialize in portrait, social and event phototgraphy. In my free time I also work on my artistic photography, where I specialize in analogue Fine Art.
